There are several types of immersion, which can be simple, or accompanied by other techniques, as is the case of the association of showers with hydromassage (with the body in immersion microjets are projected directed to different parts of the body) and the underwater shower (it is performed a shower by a specialized technician when the body is immersed, according to the prescription).
These techniques have a sedative and antispasmodic action due to the high temperature and allow the percutaneous absorption of the chemical elements of the water.
